My bear-themed chalet is an excellent getaway for the family or home base for the season. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet is 1450 sq. feet with open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, large windows, central heat, and gas fireplace. The upstairs bedroom is a king bed. The 2 downstairs bedrooms have a queen bed and twin bed in each room. Nestled in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, the chalet is just under 2 miles from the lake, 2.5 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort, and 3.5 miles from the Casinos and movie theaters. The Safeway Grocery store is 1.5 miles away. The community college is about 1 mile away. The El Dorado Boat launch is about 1.5 miles away. The neighborhood is a residential area of primarily A-frame-style mountain homes. There is a large meadow down the street that is great for walks. Bijou Community Park is right next to the neighborhood. It is famous for its disc golf, pump track, dog parks, skateboard park, and children's playground. Owner pays for utilities. No smoking is allowed inside premises. Owner pays for driveway snow removal vehicles and roadway. Tenant is responsible removal of snow and ice on steps, around vehicles, and all other areas.
