This secluded, peaceful lakeside home is located on beautiful Hammond Lake at the end of a dirt road. The perfect place for summer R&R or winter ski / ice skating retreats in the foothills of the Berkshire mountains. Comes complete with a small private beach, hammock, canoe, and paddleboard. The master bedroom looks out on the lake with incredible sunset views, a screened in porch, and ample outdoor space for snowman making or grilling and chilling. Winter amenities include ice skating in your backyard and a quick 30 minute drive to Berkshire East mountain for skiing or snowboarding, as well as an in-unit wood stove and easy cross country skiing on the lake and the surrounding rural areas. Close to the quaint New England town of Shelburne falls, 25 minute drive to excellent restaurants in Northampton, just 2 hours from Boston and 3 hours from New York. Optional furnishing (can be removed): All rooms are artistically decorated. All the basics are provided in the kitchen for cooking. One canoe and kayak on premises. TV is set up for streaming spectrum for tv channels, Netflix and amazon etc. Heat / Utilities: paid by tenant, varies by consumption level, season and temperature preference Internet: $75 per month (or feel free to get your own separate plan!) Plow: $100 per storm Smoking outside / on the porch is permitted - but please don't smoke inside, and please do use ashtrays so the lake remains clean! Ample parking is available since you "own" the end of the road. Background and credit check required for all tenants.
