This is an amazing mountain home near Boulder. We are looking for responsible extended tenant(s) from January until July 2024 to fully enjoy it. This home is ideally suited for visiting academics and professionals that want to enjoy the best of Colorado living - hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, rivers, etc. Fully furnished with an integrated living room, dining area and kitchen that looks out across the mountains through many large windows. Two bedrooms, an external insulated office, and the spacious main room allow for two comfortable home workers. One full bathroom and a half-bathroom. We typically heat with a woodburning stove, but there is also a pellet stove and baseboard electric heat if needed. There is frequent wildlife wandering in the neighborhood and an enormous deck encourages spending time outside. The house is only 20-25 minutes from Boulder and 8 minutes to the town of Nederland where you can get pretty much anything you need. The views from the house are incredible and allows time and space for peaceful living, reflecting, writing, etc. Weather in the mountains can be challenging, so a degree of self-sufficiency is required to live here. There is a nearby bus to Boulder, but a 4WD vehicle is recommended. The house is pet-friendly and child friendly, but mountain living requires thoughtful guardianship. A covered garage is helpful in the winter and plenty of parking otherwise. Fully furnished. Renter is responsible for electric usage. No inside smoking or vaping allowed.
