Newly remodelled in 2019. this house is located on 3 lots, has a fenced in yard, 2 car garage, and a paved driveway. Efficient appliances are installed and it is in a great school district and only 1 block from a park. The remodel included fully reinsulating the home to lower heating and cooling bills, along with opening up the home for a more open floor plan. newer siding and roofing added while under my ownership has kept it all leak free and in excellent condition. My family and I ( along with professional contractors as needed) have done the work ourselves, and have great pride in this home. It is in a very safe neighborhood, good neighbors, and nearly a middle ground between Springfield and Decatur, making it appropriate commuting distance for either! I personally lived in this home for 10 years and only moved out for a closer proximity to work, but would not hesitate to live in this home myself. I love this home and want to make sure it is used well by a good person of family. Owner pays for water. The therefore power, gas, trash pickup is the responsibility of the tenant. Mowing is the responsibility of the tenant as well, and I provide a riding mower for your use. television and internet is your option to include as you see fit. The house is non smoking, however smoking outdoors on the property is not means for a fine or termination of lease. Pets are allowed if they are well behaved, pet damage will be accounted for during assessment of return of deposit at the end of the lease. A one year minimum lease is preferable, however discussion of an exception is a possibility. This is my only rental, I want it to be a friendly agreement and benefit us both, I am not trying to make a fortune by renting a ton of properties.
