Point Clear Creek Cottage is located in the heart of Point Clear on Bailey's Creek. Our charming 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage offers a seclude getaway with bay access. Close to Fairhope Shops and Gulf Shores Beaches. We have Kayak Rentals available.Power boats are welcome, but we have a low clearance bridge on the canal going to the bay. Boats with T tops will not fit under the bridge. 78' clearance at mean tide. The bay is 1/2 mile by boat, 10 minute ride at idle speed. We have 8 x 16 dock on the water. Public boat launch 1-1/2 miles south. Enjoy the Front Porch with a cup of coffee, BBQ on the side deck ( propane grill provided), or enjoy the Blue Herons, Kingfishers and sometimes Wood Ducks on the dock while fishing. This home is unfurnished** All applicants must meet all requirements: Everyone 19 and older that will be living in the home, must apply. ($50.00 non-refundable application fee for each applicant.) 600 or better credit score is required. 2 years of rental history or tax records of home ownership with on-time payments are required. Pet fee $250.00 per pet (non-refundable) No landlord collections or evictions will be accepted. Deposit is non-refundable if you decide to not rent the home. Income must be 3 times the monthly rent. EX: $1500 per month rent would require an income of $4500 Criminal history must not contain felony conviction(s) for criminal offenses involving; violence, assault, battery, firearms, arson, the manufacturing and/or distribution of controlled substances within the past seven (7) years, or misdemeanor or felony conviction(s) for sexual offenses regardless of when the conviction occurred. Bankruptcies must be discharged for 3 years. Co-signers must meet all the criteria Applications are approved in completion order. An email determination letter will be sent to you within 24-48 hours.
