Fully furnished ADA compliant bungalow, 5+bd/2.5 ba, located in a quiet mixed neighborhood near major arteries flowing to downtown Atlanta (15 mins), downtown Decatur (20 mins), Stone Mountain (8 mins), and surrounding suburbs. The interior is eye-poppingly spacious, with very comfortable beds, and a mixture of skillfully tiled, and wood floors. The basement suite includes a comfortable king-sized bed in a beautifully tiled room w/ an adjoining room with large closets, & a full bath. The basement has an additional bedroom & large den with exercise space (treadmill) and extra sleeping space. The main floor has three large bedrooms w/ comfortable queen-sized beds, 1.5 baths, kitchen w/ bay window view of the wrap-around deck, a huge living room w/ sliding door to deck and a large window view of the deck space, & a dining room w/ gas fireplace. The gas fireplace is not available for safety reasons however, if you insist, we can make arrangements to accommodate. The huge wrap-around deck features high-end deck furnishings, a flowing stream on the backside that swells with the rains, creating a therapeutic space to commune with nature & others &/or BBQ. The stream deposits into a nearby river where there is a nature/biking trail that is about 5 miles long. Lease duration is flexible: short-term, long-term, or even rent-to-own; according to working arrangement. If short-term or fully furnished; owner, in negotiated arrangement with tenant, can and/or will provide all utilities including: water, gas, electricity, wifi, cable, & alarm system (with additional monthly cost). This policy, if agreed upon, can be rescinded if tenant exhibits poor behavior in terms of wasting resources (consuming excess utilities through waste, neglect, etc.). IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO OWNER THAT TENANTS BE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS. Owner provides appliances such as stainless steel french door refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, washer & dryer; all included with rent. We do accept Section 8 clients. No smoking inside. If you are a smoker, smoking is encouraged outdoors on the huge wrap-around deck. The home includes a 2 car garage for parking, and a driveway. Owner assumes full responsibility for maintenance of the property including seasonal lawn care (if lease is short-term) , and ordinary natural damages to exterior and interior of property (owner will repair all damages of property but will require this cost from the tenant if they are negligent in causing the damage). Owner commits to making improvements and upgrades to the property according to the needs of the tenant, based on quality of the relationship, length of lease, etc. I am committed to making your stay comfortable and being responsive to your needs as is reasonable and possible. Tenant is responsible to take the garbage and recycling dumpsters up to the curb every Wednesday night for early garbage pickups every Thursday mornings, and keeping the interior living space clean and organized. Note, the pics of the home includes artwork decor however, that decor is no longer available.
