It has its own entrance and faces out onto our extensive garden of native plants and ornamentals. We are Just 4 blocks from CAL and 3 blocks from the North Shattuck shopping area of cafes, restaurants, 2 markets, shops, bank and post office. Transportation is easy with a bus stop at the corner and BART within walking distance. Walk score: 93 The apartment has been upgraded with a sunny large extra room that can serve as living room, den, office or dining room. The large kitchen was upgraded recently with modern sliding drawers, new stove, and granite countertop. There is a laundry area free of charge for your use and an electric car plug-in. Solar panels provide free electricity to the apartment. This is a unique offering, because w would like to do a rent reduction of $250/month in return for 3 dog walks of 40 minutes/ week. We are looking for a COUPLE, at least one of whom will be home part time to make morning dog walks possible. Since we do not have the dog yet, the rent will be the base amount of $2800/mo for the first 4 months you live here. But at the end of 4 months, or before that time if we acquire the dog earlier, we'll begin the reduced rent. We will sign a contract stipulating that if we have not acquired a dog after 4 months, the rent reduction will still go into effect. We plan to adopt an adult dog of about 50 pounds, so renters must have the physical strength, experience,and skills to manage an energetic, strong animal.
