A modern cabin in the woods with a detached studio and sauna, on about three acres of forest, surrounded by babbling brooks and a fishing stream. The house has been on Airbnb for a few years and I'm looking to rent it long term. Look for "Modern Catskills Getaway" in Margaretville on Airbnb. 5 stars in 44 reviews! It's a 5 minute drive from Margaretville's Main St with everything you need (including CVS, supermarket, restaurant, cafe), close to Roxbury, Andes, Bovina and for skiing, Plattekill and Belayre. Heating The house is heated primarily with a furnace in the living room (downstairs), powered by heating oil (tank behind the house). It's quiet and incredibly powerful (40k BTUs). In the upstairs bedroom there is a mini split (that does heat and AC). It's also very efficient, will heat the room in a few minutes. Between those two, the house has stayed super warm through cold winters! Start date is flexible. Anytime between Jan 1st and April 1st 2024. One year lease, renewable. Owner pays for heat, pest control, water, snow removal. Renter pays for electricity and internet.
