Our cozy, pet friendly 3-bedroom home is an easy 45-minute drive from downtown Charlottesville. A peaceful pond borders the property on one side, and the beautiful South Rockfish River on the other. Love to ski, golf, or hike? Wintergreen Resort is just a 15-minute drive up the mountain. The cottage is also around the corner from multiple breweries and cider barns. FULL DESCRIPTION: You will enter the property on a small covered front porch. There is ample parking right outside the front door. Just inside, you'll see the Samsung washer and dryer, storage for shoes and coats, and the first full bathroom. Turn right into the full kitchen with beautiful bamboo floors, a cast iron double sink, full size fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, pots, pans, dish towels, and more that you will need for everyday life. There is a peninsula island with 2 barstools as well. In the kitchen, a doorway to your right leads to a bedroom with a queen bed, small desk, dresser, closet, and TV. From the kitchen the carpeted stairs also lead upstairs to the loft bedroom with beautiful mountain views, a queen bed, comfortable chair, large closet, full bathroom, dresser, TV, and a large storage room under the eaves. Back downstairs, the kitchen also leads into the living room with a couch, plenty of chairs, and another TV. From the living room you can also walk out onto the beautiful covered porch with plenty of seating options for relaxing or dining. The covered porch looks out over the backyard and the quiet pond just down the hill. From the living room, you can access the third bedroom, which has a brand new memory foam mattress and wooden bed frame, as well as a dresser, TV, closet, and comfortable chair. Welcome home! This is a fully furnished rental. The owner pays for all utilities (electricity, gas, internet). Pets are allowed but must be disclosed, and we charge a pet fee.
