This 1- bedroom live/ work rental consists of two large living/ working spaces of about 510 sq ft each. It used to be the atelier/office building for an architect and an artist. The rooms are divided by a zig- zag wall with 10' ceilings and generous feel. This place is perfect for creative activities. Both have unobstructed views to Taos Mountain and have access to a nice garden area. There is a bathroom and small kitchenette. The kitchenette has a small oven, stove, small under counter refrigerator and is fully equipped with pots & pans, dishes and silverware. It is partially furnished with studio furniture. The concrete floors are easy to maintain. In- floor radiant heat from propane and on- demand electric water heating are the mechanical systems. The internet is good. The place has no washing machine and it is not possible to install one. EL Prado has a wash center that is located on the way into town. The studio shares a courtyard with our house across the yard, other than that there are no neighbors or visible buildings. It is located on a quiet dead end dirt road which is only used by a few neighbors. The place is ideal for 1- 2 people. 6 months rental period preferred. Non- smoking, no pets and no rent share. Duration of the lease is negotiable. Tenant pays first, last and one month security deposit. Utilities are extra and paid by the tenant. No smoking, no pets no rent share, no sub leasing. Parking is off street in front of the building. A rental application will be required before showing. Please request the application from the landlord.
