Single family home on family ranch about 15 minutes south of Colorado Springs off of Hwy 115. This is a unique opportunity to live on our family ranch in quiet 2 bed, 1 bathroom home. We recently updated the flooring throughout the home , new tile in the bathroom , new appliances in the kitchen with new tile backsplash, new paint, and new AC. I pay for water and trash and part of the electric usage in return for you caring for my small group of horses 3 times a week (feeding them when needed) and driving the ranch once a week to make sure all is well. In order to feed you need to be able to move feed sacks that weigh 50 pounds and be able to move hay bales as needed. Prior experience with horses is required and the ability to work well with others and communicate is important. *Edited: We are not open to teaching someone while they are "on the job" so to speak. I am adding this to help everyone understand how important it is to us that the person who will be at the ranch will have the needed skills in place. Preference will be given to someone who has owned a horse or who has worked with horses as part of their previous employment. * For the right person there may be an opportunity to also do additional work at the ranch. Non-smoker, pets considered, local employment required, one year lease. Because this house is on a septic occupancy is limited to a maximum of three people. I pay water, part of electric, and trash. No smoking.
