Our historic 2 story Victorian home was built in 1892 & boasts all the charm of that era while featuring updated furnishings & appliances. We are located on the north side of downtown Colorado Springs with restaurants and shops in walking distance. The neighborhood borders the Colorado College Campus & served as a 6 bedroom dormitory for teachers at the college in it's early days. Our rental unit is the second floor of the home and has a private entrance of the alley. My husband, 3 dogs and our cat live downstairs. The rental is furnished and pets are allowed although there is no access to the yard. There is no washer/dryer hook up but the tenant can use our washer and dryer when we are home. The house has central air and heat but there is also a window unit in the living room and a standing portable AC in the Queen bedroom. We do have college students in the rental next door but CC Security is pretty good about shutting wild parties down after getting a call and our fans and AC units drown out a lot of the noise. The house does not have private parking, we park on the street. The shower and tub are a little wonky - it's impossible to stand because of the angled ceiling/roof but they work well if you are okay with sitting while showering. Pet deposit required. Renter's insurance required. Tenant pays for utilities and trash service. We offer use of our high speed internet for $75 a month.
