The wonderful Roundhouse of Millerton, has sustainability, efficiency, and environmental impact at the forefront of all the last owners' decisions, it is solidly and very thoughtfully built. Inquiries: PLEASE CONTACT ME PER EMAIL (better than phone) IF YOU'RE INTERESTED :) Millerton is a 20 minute drive (or 50 minute bike-ride on the rail-trail) from the Wassaic train station (MTA North), ~2hrs from Penn Station NYC. It is a charming little village, at a walking distance from the house. NYS Home Energy Star Rated, the house was designed to maximize the southern exposure (while remaining cool inside in the summer), and it's surrounded by all you can wish in the countryside. The house has lots of natural light; it is solid, unique, and very comfortable. (Search 'The Roundhouse of Millerton' on Airbnb for more Photos/Info - unfurnished option also possible.) Please inquire only if you are very seriously interested in the house, and in a 6 month lease minimum lease, preferably:) - First month rent and/or 1 month's rent for security deposit (can be discussed), - Utilities are not included, - No smoking in the house, - Parking on driveway (do not park on the lawn!), or street (free) - Small dogs and cats might be allowed if they are well house-trained. - We have bicycles to lend, and would gladly discuss other arrangements if you're seriously interested! - We can discuss lease agreement (shorter lease might be possible, although not preferred), - The furniture is optional and the use of the wonderful, huge basement as storage can also be discussed. - I would like to find someone I can really trust and communicate well with, after my (lovely) current tenant leaves :) -Co-living allowed - families welcome, but also roommates - from all identities :) Thank you!
