Pet-friendly, Spacious, recently renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home in Medlock Park! This sturdy, 1954 house has been entirely updated over the past 7 years. It was originally three bedrooms but one bedroom was converted to make more living space, complete with twelve feet of built-in shelves and cabinets giving the house ample storage space. The kitchen/dining room was completely renovated in 2015 with new cabinets, counter tops, and lighting features. All of the windows have been replaced with energy-efficient windows. The bathroom was remodeled in 2018 with all new fixtures. The house also features an in-closet stackable front-loading washer/dryer making laundry convenient without taking up much of the living space. The house has a huge fenced-in, flat backyard including a 400-square-foot patio, making the house great for entertaining and pets! While convenient to City of Decatur, Emory, and the CDC, Medlock Park is also a great, quiet neighborhood for nature lovers. The house is located a short walk from Medlock Park and pool which is connected via the DeKalb County path and trail system to Mason Mill Park, Emory, and beyond. Note for dog-owners: Although the home is pet-friendly, our home insurance unfortunately will not allow us to rent to tenants with certain breeds of dogs (Pit bull, Chow-chow, Presa Canario, Rottweilers, Doberman, and wolf mixes), unless they are AKC Canine Good Citizen Certified. The back door also has a built-in automatic locking dog door with the use of a chip on the dog's collar which we're happy to provide. The current tenants will be living in the house until the end of October so we will be having limited showings on the afternoon of Saturday, October 14th.
