An East facing portal (one of two portals available) provides outdoor dining opportunities while you admire the beautiful mountain view and learn why our mountain range is called the Sandias, (the Spanish word for watermelon)! The property is gated and you also have a two-car garage for your use. Please be aware, this is a busy working ranch and will have volunteers, participants, families, and staff on the ranch portion of the property everyday however, we will do our best not to interrupt your stay. If you love the idea of living on a horse ranch with the opportunity of seeing smiling participants, and supporting our efforts, this is the place for you! We have a caretaker for the horses living in a small casita at the back of the property. We clean our stalls daily and perform constant weed control with pre-emergent spraying. Horse Boarding and riding lessons are available for additional fees. Utilities are shared with the whole property. A separate monitoring meter measures home electrical usage. Lessor includes up to $250 of the metered electrical usage in the rent. Additional electrical will be calculated and given to Lesee by the 15th of the month and due from Lesee with the rent on the following month's payment Xfinity Internet, water, sewer, and trash utilities are included. Other parts of this 7-acre property is an active not-for-profit therapeutic horse riding programs for disabled individuals. It is busy with volunteers, participants, and families daily. Special events may occur in and around the covered arena at various times during the day and evening. Because this is a working horse facility, horse boarding, and riding lessons can be purchased at additional cost. The home is currently furnished with all household furniture, housewares, linens, etc. Bring your personal belongings and you are living in style. Lessor will entertain an unfurnished rental.
